Disability Cafe: Find Out More About Working With A Disability

After the success of last year the Careers service and Enabling service are repeating their Disability cafe event on the 26th April (1:30 – 3:30 in 45/2040)

The event is in response to student feedback that said they would like to have an opportunity to hear from people working with disabilities/Specific learning difficulties or long term health conditions, and to ask employers about their practices and how they support their staff.

We have invited various speakers to share their experiences of either working with a disability or supporting those with a disability at work.

Dr Nasser Siabi OBE – CEO at Microlink PC – https://www.linkedin.com/in/nasser-siabi-obe-206b8318/

  • As an employer/support worker, identifying the support that is offered to employees in terms of reasonable adjustments, diversity schemes, pastoral support, access to work etc
