2. Family Events
On 1 December 2017, the ESO Science Outreach Network (ESON) gathered together at the ESO Headquarters in Garching bei MĂźnchen, Germany. They had the chance to visit the newly built ESO Supernova Planetarium & Visitor Centre and to watch a fulldome show at its planetarium.
For family events, there are several events including science shows, live demonstrations, and star gazing evenings set up by the Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium. In addition, at the Theatre Royal, there are plenty of popular performances and children’s classical shows at the Theatre Royal.

Winvhester Cathedral Christmas Market is one of the most popular market in Europe, due to its festive lights, aroma of wine and cinnamon scent, sounds of Christmas Carol, and numerous shops being exhibited during Christmas period. This year, the Winchester Cathedral will start from November 17th 2023 (Friday) to November 21st 2023 (Thursday) and it is free entry event that everyone can enjoy.
