Peer Advisors

Peer advisors are a group of MSc students who have just reached the end of their Business School MSc programmes. You will meet them at induction and over the course of semester 1 they will help you make friends with other like-minded students by arranging socials, trips and activities for you outside of lectures. Peer advisors offer different opinions and perspectives to our other peer support groups, so if you really want as much information as possible don’t hesitate to contact as many peer support members as you like.

How can they help?

They are dedicated to helping you find your feet in your first few weeks of study. They will be supporting your Personal Academic Tutors in helping you get to know campus and what it is like to study at Southampton. They can help answer questions that you may not want to ask an academic, such as “where can I find a good restaurant?” or “how can I set up a bank account?” (and many more). They are here to help you find information faster!

They have recently made the change from undergraduate study to studying at master’s level, which is what you will all face in September. You will be able to contact them in person or online through university email and on Facebook.

You can find the peer leaders on Facebook and Instagram!
