There are a number of forms of peer support available within Southampton Business School. Follow the links below for more information.
Peer Advisors – are a group of 4 MSc. students who have just finished their dissertations. They are dedicated to helping you find your feet in your first few weeks of study. They will be supporting your Personal Academic Tutors in helping you get to know campus and what is is like to study at Southampton. They can help answer questions that you may not want to ask staff.
Undergraduate Buddies – are second and final year students who help first year undergraduates get used to living and studying at Southampton Business School.
Peer Learning – trained second and final year students facilitate fun, active learning sessions to help first year’s to adapt to studying at University.
Academic President and Course Reps – The Students’ Union works with the University to facilitate the Student Representation (rep) system. Our Business School Academic President (the person who organises Business School Course Representatives) for 2016/17 is Sumaiya Hameed. Sumaiya is a 2nd year Accounting and Finance student.
