Southampton Walking Tours

Here are some ideas for walking tours to help you find your way and explore Southampton!

1. Jane Austen Walking Trail

This tour appeals to those interested in the History of English Literature as you walk in the steps of Jane Austen, an English novelist born in 1775.

2. Southampton City Walls Walk

A circular walk taking you around the historic walls of the city of Southampton. The route runs for just under 2 miles following the walls to some interesting historical sites in the city centre. Why not grab a coffee together whilst you are there?

3. The Titanic Trail

The infamous ship that sank after hitting an iceberg during her first voyage from Southampton to New York in 1912. Follow The Titanic Trail through the city to see where crew and passengers spent their last days before the fateful voyage.

4. Southampton Common

If you are in need of some green space and nature, then this is the walk for you. Explore 326 acres of woodland, parkland, rough grassland, ponds, wetlands and nature trails on this lovely walking route in Southampton. Why not bring a picnic and have lunch together? This is also near the Cowherds Pub a typical English restaurant where you could get a drink and something to eat.
