Databases for undergraduate dissertations

Choosing the correct database and finding your way around.

Sian Furmage our SBS librarian will give an overview of the different databases and what they offer. She will also talk about how to get the correct information from them. The session will be recorded but a small number of students can sign up to go along and will have the opportunity to ask questions. This will be in Hartley Library training room 4077.

Database drop ins (Company and Financial Data)

One of our PhD students will be at the Bloomberg terminal on level 4 of Building 2, just by room 4061 in the quiet sofa area. They will be able to advise on accessing and extracting data from Company and Financial Databases. You can book a time on the sign-up sheet by the Bloomberg terminal, or just turn up and take the next available time.
