If you are a new University of Southampton Business School student, you will be taking part in an Induction Challenge to be completed individually or in small teams during Welcome (Induction/ Freshers) Week.

You’ll find out more about the challenge in your Programme Welcome Talk and your Peer Leaders or Peer Advisors will be helping you along the way!

How will the challenge work?

You can work individually or as a team: As a team, you will need to get into groups (3-6 people) for the challenge in your first week.
Find a time: Choose a day during Welcome Week that you would like to do your Induction Challenge. (Undergraduate students: you will do a Campus Tour in your first Peer Leader session which may help when you complete the Induction Challenge). Find a time to complete the challenge before the deadline which is Monday 29th September 2025, 12pm.
Find your animals: Follow this link to the Safari Clues form to find each animal and place around campus. You can use both My Southampton App map and the Campus Tour Map attached below to help you on your search. You must locate each animal and enter it’s location into the form. Lastly, take a photo with one of the animals and post it to your form!
Prizes: If your MS Form was completed and correct you’ll be entered into a draw and a winner will be randomly selected.
Announcing winners: Our Peer Advisors will announce the winners via email and the prizes will be awarded at our Coffee & Chat in B175 cafe on Thursday 2nd October 2025 between 10am and 12pm. We hope you can join us!
