£15,000 Financial Times Bracken Bower Prize

The Financial Times is looking for young authors who can tackle emerging business themes or identify and analyse the trends of the future in business, economics, finance or management or even examine pressing business challenges in unique ways.

The Bracken Bower Prize will be awarded to the best proposal for a business book by an author under the age of 35 on 30 November, 2019. The proposal doesn’t need to be more than 5,000 words. You can find helpful guidelines on the FT website or alternatively, if you register your interest here, they will send you a guide created by FT editors on how to write a winning proposal.

The Deadline for Submissions is 30 September, 2019 (5pm BST). However, they advise that submissions be made a week early (16th September 2019). The Bracken Bower Prize will be given at the Business Book of the Year Award dinner, which will be held in New York on 03 December, 2019.
